Teaching time management concepts, skills and strategies are very important to be taught during the school time. Time management is one of the greatest skills a child can possess. At times children experience anxiety, get stressed, and lose self-confidence balancing their school and extracurricular activities. We teach the children to be organized, which in turn benefit them physically, emotionally and mentally. Time Management is an organizational tool which makes them value time and schedule task as required. To help the children do will in their life it is important to teach them how to remain organized.

To implement time management, we need to apply rules and routines. Routines reduce the frustration and create more time for fun and togetherness. Time managements means applying techniques for scheduling time. Planning is one of the major tools of time management it increases the efficiency and effectiveness of the children. To organize time we need to do listing, set priorities and set up goals. Time management teaches the children self management which makes it easy for them to coordinate their daily activities and increase accountability. Time management teaches the children to finish their tasks within the time limit and to meet dead lines.

Tips for Time Management:

  • Set Reminders: to list the work and making notes help to keep a check on the tasks and the time taken to finish them.


  • Planning the Task:  planning and preparing schedule is a very effective method to manage time. It helps you to meet deadlines and stay organized.


  • Setting Priorities: Prioritizing allows you to manage the time critical tasks and clarifying value of various tasks.


  • Efficient and Proactive: Being Efficient and proactive allows to understand the difference between urgency and importance and help you to do finish important task before they become urgent.
Time managements allow the children to complete their activities efficiently and effectively which improves productivity of the child without wasting effort.
